Photographer and friend, Krista Elrick will be teaching a workshop in Alaska in May 2009 sponsored by the Santa Fe Workshops.
"Each spring, as the frozen landscape begins to thaw, the shorelines of coastal Alaska shimmer with millions of migrating birds, many of which have traveled thousands of miles to reach their breeding grounds in the Arctic tundra. This workshop is for photographers who wish to witness and photograph this wonder of nature at one of the largest contiguous wetlands in the U.S., and one of the best birding locations in the world."
