The Whale Hunt

thewhalehunt.org initially appears to be your average photography website, but "was developed as an experimental interface for storytelling." The interface link explains the complexities of the entire site. Then when ready, you begin the whale hunt by loads on the "Preparing for the Hunt" page. Next, you are introduced to all the interactive functions of this site. Photos from the project fall into place as the chronological mosiac fall into place. The order of the project can be viewed through a more traditional timeline, a pinwheel or a heartbeat chart with the faster beats symbolizing more photographic activity.
